Chicago: Production Designer

We’re looking for an experienced Production Designer who can join our team.

The Production Designer will work closely with a team of strategists, designers, writers, video producers/editors, and developers to craft unique solutions for clients ranging from start-ups to the Fortune 500.

Qualifications

• The Production Designer can work quickly, yet efficiently under pressure and thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a production designer in an agency or in-house setting
• He or she is willing to take on challenges with a positive attitude and is an engaged listener who demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud software with heavy emphasis in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat and Figma
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office and Google suite
• Strong foundation in print and digital production
• Strong knowledge of web best practices and modern web technologies
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Strong organizational skills and design file management and
• Proficiency in Mac platform

Responsibilities

• The Production Designer assists in optimizing digital and print assets for production across all projects on his or her assigned accounts
• He or she works closely with key members of the creative and development team to ensure accurate delivery throughout key milestones of a project
• Project types include asset creation, file management and production for websites, and email campaigns, as well as print collateral and presentation design
• Supports the creative and development team in updating, optimizing, and managing files for digital delivery and print production
• Assists in the hand-off of digital design assets to developers and print files to print vendors
• Creates mockups and design comps for various digital and print campaign tactics
• Supports the creation and development of presentation documents built in PowerPoint, InDesign, and Keynote
• Photography, video, writing, and analytics experience a plus
