Savvas Learning Company / Product Strategy and UX/UI Design

Economics in action.

Savvas launched the strategic design phase for a new Texas Economics (High School) program and partnered with Multiple to develop innovative solutions that would engage students and support teachers. While the anticipated Texas adoption catalyzed the program, it was designed for both the Texas and national markets. The objective was to create prototypes for customer testing.

Discovery and Process

During the project, Multiple designed custom engagement and comprehension modules to deliver the lesson content. We managed design team resources, content experts, art and illustration procurement, rights management, and ensured all assets adhered to Savvas standards and font licensing requirements. In collaboration with the Savvas team, we engaged in detailed creative reviews, stakeholder feedback sessions, and research to refine prototypes and deliver polished final assets.

Strategy and Digital Experience

Multiple explored new and interactive experiences to engage with educational content. Using custom learning modules, comprehension checkpoints, and contemporary references, we created numerous points of entry for students and educators within the lesson.

Execution and Delivery

Multiple provided strategy, UX/UI, and visual design support during a five-week planning and prototyping phase, working closely with Savvas teams. We delivered a web-based prototype featuring engaging micro-content, including interactive story cards, animated storytelling, discussion sparks, modern cultural connections, and game-like assessment elements.
